Clinic Etiquette

At Thistle and Rose, we wish to provide the best service for all of our clients, please read through the following points to make sure everything runs smoothly for everyone :)

Bookings

Bookings are requested through the Booking Request Form on the Book Now page. Please expect to be contacted within 2-3 BUSINESS days, often much sooner. Appointments will not be reserved or confirmed until your booking fee has been received.

Arrival

Please arrive on time (no earlier or later) in order to fill out the paperwork, consent form and to read the aftercare prior to your consultation and procedure. Working back to back enhancing client's beauty means that we will be unable to welcome you into the studio any earlier. If you are more than 10mins late we may need to reschedule your appointment with a new booking fee. If you are running late, please send an SMS, email or Facebook message immediately.

Cancellations

If you give less than 5 FULL BUSINESS Days (ie one week and within BUSINESS Hours) notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment, your booking fee will be forgone and a new deposit will need to be placed in order to schedule a new appointment.

Rescheduling

If you wish to reschedule your appointment with more than 5 business days notice, your deposit will be transferred to reserve your new appointment time. You may not be offered any future appointments if you need to reschedule again.

No Shows

If you do not show to your appointment with no notice, your deposit will be forfeited and you will not be able to make any future appointments.

Booking Fee

A $100 booking fee will be taken for EACH cosmetic tattoo and dermal therapy service appointment. A 50% booking fee will be taken for all Brow & Lash Styling services.

This is NON refundable under no circumstances, absolutely no exceptions (even if you fall pregnant and are no longer eligible for your treatment, child minding is not available etc., your booking fee will not be refunded.)

-If you wish to reschedule your appointment with more than 5 full business days notice, your booking fee will be transferred to reserve your new appointment time. You may not be offered any future appointments if you need to reschedule again.

-If you give less than  5 BUSINESS days notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment, your booking fee will be forgone and a new booking fee will need to be placed in order to schedule a new appointment.

-If you do not show to your appointment with no notice, your booking fee will be forfeited and you will not be able to make any future appointments.

-If you have two appointments booked for your Cosmetic Tattoo and you are unable to attend your first appointment/ need to cancel or reschedule with less than 5 business days notice, BOTH deposits will be forfeited.

All booking fees will be taken via manual credit/ debit card, bank transfers available if the funds will clear in time before your appointment, or you can drop in and process your booking fee in cash in person.

Confirmation SMS

We send out confirmation SMS to our clients generally 1-3 days before your appointment. These are a courtesy reminder- please do not rely solely on these messages. It is your responsibility to enter your diary into your personal calendar.

Children

Due to safety and concentration considerations, children are not able to be accommodated for in clinic. Please organise reliable child minding.

​

Entourage

Due to safety, relaxation and concentration considerations, client's guests are not permitted in clinic. Thistle and Rose is a small studio space which means unfortunately we won't have any extra room to accommodate an entourage. It also interferes with decision making and transmitting/interpreting important consultation information. Please organise to catch up with your friends or send them photos of your new enhanced features after your appointment instead.

Payments

Full payment is expected at your appointment. We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard or Zip Pay payment types. W can also process manual credit card transactions over the phone for you. No cheques. No bank transfers at your appointment as funds cannot be guaranteed to be cleared immediately. PayPal coming soon.

Note some transaction fees may be additional for using payments other than cash.
